Meet Popeyes and Hardys! These two sweet and adorable guinea pigs were brought to Delaware Pet Rescue when their owner passed away. They are about 7 months old and are very sweet! They saw our vet and got a clean bill of health as well as a nail trim- they were very cooperative! Popeye has long fluffy hair with cowlicks that make his hair stick out in every direction (called "rosettes"!) Hardys has a smooth slick coat of shorter hair. They had a loving home before where they were well cared for, and they're hoping to find another loving home where they can be adopted out together. They are very bonded and spend their time cuddling together, eating together and exploring together. They are friendly boys who enjoy sitting on your lap. They'll make a wonderful addition to your home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
