LAP CAT ALERT!! Effie Trinket is the ultimate lap cat. She will instantly climb onto your lap as soon as you sit down and will stay there for as long as you let her. She has a great purr and loves to be pet. She is just the absolute sweetest cat, it is impossible not to fall in love with her instantly! Plus she gets along wonderfully with all the other cats, kids and dogs at her foster home! Do you have a warm lap for Miss Effie?!
This cat is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
