Meet Samoa! She is an adorable (and fairly hefty) guinea pig who is excited to find a home of her very own! She is sweet and loving and gentle, and she's a very smart piggie! She goes potty in one corner of her cage in a little container we put there which makes it super easy and quick to clean, what a good girl! She gets super excited when it is veggie time and squeaks in anticipation! She made her way to DPR when one of our partner shelters asked for assistance with some guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are social critters, and Samoa would probably really love having a female friend to hang out with in her new home!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
