Meet Do-Si-Do! How cute are his cowlicks?! He has the funniest hair that sticks out in every direction. He's super super friendly and will run to greet you at the front of his cage. He loves being pet, especially on the top of his nose and head. He is a very happy piggy and loves everyone he meets! He's great with kids too. He came to DPR from a local shelter we partner with. He arrived with a sizeable abscess on his side and he underwent surgery to remove it. He's been healing nicely and is such a good little patient! Guinea pigs do best when they have a friend, and Do-Si-Do would probably love to have a buddy in his new home.

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
